The dynamic lefthand navigation bar expands and collapses as needed, and allows you to explore our full suite of products (Securitizations, Market Surveillance, Portfolio Surveillance, Warehouse, and Intelligence). In-app notifications, customization options, and access to support and documentation can also be found here. The logout function can be found in the top right corner.
Product Line Navigation
Within a product line, a tabular secondary navigation system allows you to explore the different pages and tools. A clickable trail of "breadcrumbs" on each page also provides at-a-glance confirmation of your current location with the app.
Organized Product Lines & dv01 Intelligence
The first four options on the lefthand menu are specific to the distinct product lines that we currently offer. Whereas these products allow single pool evaluations, we created dv01 Intelligence to perform centralized and in-depth analysis on multi-pool comparisons.
Using Pool Selector
The Pool Selector can be accessed by clicking the green pen icon next to a pool/platform name and can be used to navigate through the app. Following the same logic as the rest of the application, the pool selector is organized primarily along product lines. Asset classes are separated within each product section, and we've also helpfully broken out your saved pools for easy access. We've also integrated a robust search feature to help you locate pools quickly.
Compare Pools/Platforms with Multi-Select
The Multi-Select view presents all possible options on one screen, organized by platform/originator and asset class. Using either the Compare button in the individual product lines or by navigating directly to Intelligence, simply select the pools you want to compare and click 'Apply'. On certain pages within Intelligence, you can choose to apply multiple pools as a Pool Set or as a Combined Pool (detailed below).
dv01 Intelligence: Combined Pools and Pool Sets
In addition to looking at single pools within a product line, there are two ways to evaluate multiple pools within the app. The "Combined Pool" feature combines individually selected pools into a larger single pool, which is backed by the collateral of each underlying deal/pool/etc. In contrast, applying multiple pools as a "Pool Set" allows you to compare multiple pools at once without commingling the collateral; this allows you to keep each pool distinct and separate within the analysis.
If you are using a tool within a product line that allows for multiple pool comparisons, you will see a blue “Compare” button next to the selector. Clicking “Compare” launches Pool Selector, allowing you to select other pools via the multi-select view in Pool Selector. Applying your choices will redirect you to Intelligence.
Within dv01 Intelligence, the green "Add/Edit Pools" button will allow you add and compare as many pools as you want.
Custom curve sets can be created in Intelligence, saved, and applied to the cashflow engine in any product.
