Summary
Mortgage investors face market transparency issues because they do not have access to broader performance trends and run into inconsistent reporting, particularly within alternative-income documentation. To address these issues, we've partnered with Fitch and released the Prime Jumbo & non-QM Benchmark Datasets.
Both benchmarks are anonymized aggregations of securitizations on dv01*, enabling investors to gain better insight into origination and performance trends as the space continues to evolve.
Both benchmarks can be found within the Market Surveillance section of the mortgages tab in the pool selector.
Non-QM Documentation Type Standardization
Most notably, investors benefit from dv01's ~15 normalized documentation types (more info here).
Climate Risk Data Enrichment
Additionally, when a five-digit zip is provided dv01 can enrich benchmarks with FEMA Climate data - such as Key Disaster Declarations (wildfire, hurricanes, etc.), National Risk Index (NRI), and NRI Expected Annual Loss (EAL) fields.
*The largest exclusion criteria are loans originated prior to 2013.
